NOVEMBER 2012 NEWSLETTER

Dear Yogis,

" How does one walk with yoga in the heart while still living in a modern world?"

We welcome November after looking back at yet another month full of inspiration, challenges, hope and always, always the knowing that we are all still learning, growing and walking the path, step by step.
Vinyasa means step by step and more than ever do we feel that this is the way to approach life right now.

We were part of organizing the very successful event "Palma Goes Yoga" along with Zunray and 7 other yoga studios here in Palma. Together we manifested over 120 people who showed up to the park just below Es Baluard to practice and share yoga outdoors. We loved collaborating together and felt very grateful and humble by the amount to people from all walks of life that showed up to practice together. So a big big thank you all who showed up!

Mirjam and David also hosted a wonderful donation practice to a cause very dear to their hearts called " Mission Smile” A project that supports remote villages in the Himalayas where people are struggling to have their basic needs met. Mirjam has collected clothes, money and a lot of love for this project.

We also held a very special healing circle led by Sandra for our friend Emilie and for anyone who needed some healing and strength.

It feels like now more than ever is the time to give, not only money but also of our time, love and touch. Hearing the stories shared from a hurricane stricken New York is truly an inspiration of individuals reaching out and having a true impact.

So on to this month!

We are happy to share with you a few changes to the schedule……..

We are excited to announce that Angela's Tuesday morning class at 10 am will be now with a strong focus on alignment and technique. It will still be a wonderful flow but with a lot of attention to safety
and correct alignment in the poses. She also has a lot of inspiration from Shiva Rea, so be prepared to learn some beautiful flows.

Mateo continues to teach his wonderful Vinyasa in Spanish at 8.30pm on Wednesdays and from Thursday 8 November he will be teaching a weekly Lunchtime Vinyasa at 2- 3.30pm (again taught in Spanish).

Mirjam has started teaching a regular Yin Practice on Thursdays from 7- 8.30 pm. Frank continues to teach his dynamic Vinyasa Class on Thursdays only now starting at 8.45-10pm.

Ivana continues to teach her inspirational Happy Hour Vinyasa on Fridays at 7pm.

Frank has moved his regular "beach yoga class " that happens on Sundays at 6-7.30pm to Earth Yoga as the colder weather sets in. So on Sundays please feel free to join us either for a morning practice with
Jay at 10.30-12pm or with Frank at 6-7.30 pm.
