This is easier said than done ...but just as the story of the Good Wolf and the Bad Wolf where the one that wins is the one that you feed ...this applies to our hearts as well .
After a long winter even here on Mallorca with heavy rains that have now blessed our lands and nature with green lush vegetation, spring is finally here . We are inspired to spring clean - inside and out. There is a beauty of really clearing out closets, drawers and wash floors and surfaces in your living space . Open all the windows and use sage to clean and clear energy and invite the good in by burning palo santo. Create an altar, light a candle and bring some fresh flowers into your home. Our bodies are longing for cleaner food and liquids and our practices become more heating and detoxing as the heat from the outside warms our bodies faster .
We are proud to have completed our second group of graduates from the last part of our advanced 300hr Tantra Flow Teacher Training with Jeanne Heilemann. It is an honor to follow her and the students through their challenges, joys and the love and returning home through yoga. Jeanne will be returning to Earth Yoga in September where she will be hosting a 200hr Tantra Flow Teacher Training. This April we are excited to offer our second Healing Meditation and Tibetan Sound Bowls with Jack Pescod and Sarah Livesay. On Saturday 14 April they will guide us with their magic blend of colloidal gold, intention setting and the healing sounds of tibetan bowls. Last time was a truly amazing gathering and we had over 25 people who left with a sense of deep healing and lightness in our bodies and spirit. We are also happy to introduce a new healing meditation practice with Jeanne Lurie. This will take place every Friday at 10am until 11.30am in the small shala (at the same time as our vinyasa class in the main shala). Jeanne will guide you through a deep healing meditation not only for ourselves but for the healing of the world.
We have a few changes to our regular schedule at both of our studios.....
In Santa Catalina, Rebecca has decided to stop teaching her Monday evenings classes and so Brent will be taking over teaching the 6.30pm Monday class instead. This will begin on Monday 23 April. Also Frank's 7pm Thursday evening class will now be a level 2/3 class instead of All Levels. He will continue to teach an all level practice every Sunday at 6.30pm
In our Portals studio, Katja will go back to teaching a vinyasa flow yoga class on Wednesdays at 9.30am. This class is followed by Yin Yoga with Emily at 11.30am. Yin Yoga is a perfect complement to the dynamic (yang) style of Vinyasa Yoga and leaves you with a calm mind and body. We highly recommend trying a class!
